When I started #ChallengeChooseday, I didn’t think it through properly. It was quite a good idea in my opinion but I was actually quite short sited with it. It was an idea to get me doing something different. To get me thinking differently and attempt to understand life from other perspectives. I didn’t actually think about the consequences of this. I didn’t realise it would change everything about me. It literally made my brain go into over load. I’ve had to attempt and process loads of different stuff all in my head and to be honest, it’s been rather tricky as I’ve had so much change and a lot to attempt to make sense of. … More 26 – 11,000 words typed in 3 hours
The week before this challenge started, the news was riddled with stories concerning acts of terrorism in the world but especially the attacks on London Bridge in June. It was horrendous what happened and I feel for the city of London and the families involved. I also feel for the Muslims in the UK who took an unbelievable amount of hate around that time. I’m probably addicted to Coffee. On average, I reckon I have about 4 coffees a day. Is this bad for me? Probably. Therefore, I decided to just go cold turkey on the stuff and see what happens. Bearing in mind I like my coffee strong and black. … More 22 – No more Coffee for me
I’m talking about fear. Facing fears in theory is a great thing to do, but in practice is quite hard. This was a difficult challenge and for reasons you wouldn’t expect. Partly because I’m not actually scared of much. I’m happy to make a fool of myself in front of others so I had to really think about this one. The hard part was thinking of them. … More 21 – F*** is a bad word
This is the most watched TED talk… ever. If you have never watched it, you should. If you have already watched it, watch it again now. Growing up in Britain as a man generally teaches us that vulnerability is weakness, that having emotions and feelings is frowned upon. This is not breaking news. This is … More 20 – Vulnerabil… I don’t want to talk about it actually.
